Research suggests that transmission can occur within the first 16 hours, and for this reason, we prefer not to follow the “watch and wait” approach. We offer 30-minute telemedicine appointments to ensure you receive early treatment, preferably within the first 48 hours of finding an attached tick.

• Guidance on safe tick removal and tick testing.

• Prophylactic treatment to prevent Lyme disease.

• Prevention strategies and follow-up testing if needed.
